COVID-19 Update – Stay in and Stay Safe

Cricket Ontario hopes that all our Board members, players, coaches and their families are staying indoor and safe and actively following the government guidelines to keep social distance.

It is very unfortunate that recently, 11 people were spotted playing cricket in the closed park in Brampton by the safe ambassadors and police was called in to stop them. All 11 people were given $800 tickets.

Cricket Ontario would like to emphasize the message from our Prime Minister and Premier to stay indoor and stay safe so that we can all help bring COVID in control.

Cricket Ontario like to inform everyone that Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton, other GTA cities and Halton Region, Markham, Scarborough have closed parks & recreational facilities till further notices. The safety ambassadors of the cities are imposing fines for violations.

PLEASE USE YOUR COMMON SENSE AND GOVERNMENT GUIDELINES STAY IN AND STAY SAFE and HELP BRING THIS PANDEMIC UNDER CONTROL.
